Nagykovácsi Grocery Store – Linum Office and Service Center

Client:                         Vörösvár Invest Commercial and Service Ltd.
General Contractor:             ÉPDUFERR Zrt.

In the heart of Nagykovácsi, a new environmentally friendly town center utilizing renewable energy has been built.
As part of a comprehensive development concept, the Linum Courtyard was established, creating the town’s future recreational and institutional park.
One wing of the building complex houses offices, while two additional units serve commercial and service functions, including a fitness center, retail spaces, a food court, and a newly opened grocery store.

The stepped massing of the buildings follows the natural topography of the area, blending harmoniously into the surroundings. In terms of color and materials, the complex aims for a modern and unified appearance, featuring a gray granite base and paving, glass surfaces, off-white facades, aluminum-framed doors and windows, brushed and lacquered aluminum glass railings, and a light anthracite color palette that creates a cohesive look.

During the structural construction, 400 tons of rebar and 4,000 m³ of concrete were used. The surrounding public areas, including roads and sidewalks around the Linum Courtyard, were also renovated, and a new roundabout was constructed. Upon completion, 3,000 m² of rooftop gardens, 3,600 m² of landscaping, and a new pedestrian promenade were created.

The entire complex was handed over at the end of 2021.
The grocery store opened its doors to customers on September 30, 2021.
