Intercisa Museum

Our company has been awarded the renovation and modernization of the Intercisa Museum, located in the heart of Dunaújváros at Városháza Square, operating since 1970.
The museum houses Hungary’s largest Roman-era collection and is a defining element of Városháza Square, enjoying local heritage protection.
It is an honor for us to contribute to revitalizing the cultural life of our city.

Client: Municipality of Dunaújváros (City with County Rights)
General Contractor: ÉPDUFERR Nyrt.

The project aims to modernize the Intercisa Museum and develop it for tourism purposes.
The development will support the diversification of the local economy by boosting economic activity and increasing employment.
Additionally, it will help reshape the current image of Dunaújváros as merely an “industrial city,” promoting its cultural and touristic rebranding.
The Intercisa Museum has been operating at 4 Városháza Square, Dunaújváros, since 1970, preserving Hungary’s largest collection from the Roman period.
The building is a key feature of Városháza Square and is protected as a local heritage site.
