Épduferr plans five years ahead: HUF 60 billion agreement with Panodom

Épduferr Nyrt. is advancing with undiminished momentum in the construction industry. On 1 September 2026, the company published its medium-term strategy on the Budapest Stock Exchange. Its central element is an agreement with Panodom: general contracting for 14 real estate development projects over the next five years, with an aggregate net contract value of approximately HUF 60 billion.

Two of the projects are already under construction. The Akvamarin residential park in Siófok is being built in one of the most sought-after areas of the Lake Balaton shoreline, while the Anger project is a modern, premium-category residential development. Épduferr Nyrt. serves as general contractor on both investments, from structural works through to turnkey handover.

With the agreement, Panodom has taken a position behind Épduferr Nyrt. not only as a client but also as an owner: the developer has acquired half of the business share in Épduferr Invest Kft. The two companies are therefore linked not on a project-by-project basis, but over the long term, through shared interests.

Épduferr Nyrt. will continue to expand the corporate group in the period ahead. In the second half of 2026 it plans to acquire a company that manufactures and installs electrical systems and switchgear cabinets, and later a building services (MEP) contractor. With these two specialisms, the group would be able to deliver the electrical and mechanical systems of buildings in-house as well.

The steel division, Eximferr, aims to win its first order in the fourth quarter of 2026 in the DACH region, covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This would be the first significant milestone in the group's export activity.

"Our company's history is about building business lines that reinforce one another, and as a general contractor we are able to capitalise on that synergy. This agreement shows that our partners see the value in it too," said Milán Palkovics, Chairman and CEO of Épduferr Nyrt.
