Charity Campaign by the Dunaújváros Football Association for the Intensive Care Unit of the Szent Pantaleon Hospital

Dunaújváros – The Dunaújváros Football Association (DLSZ) has launched a charity campaign to support the intensive care unit of the Szent Pantaleon Hospital, with the participation of Dunaújvárosi Hírlap and duo.hu. Charity and donation—doing something for a cause that could mean life for others—always touches people’s hearts. Gábor Petrás, Secretary General of the DLSZ, is the leader and driving force behind many charity campaigns, and this time is no different. He provided us with the details.

Charity Campaign Item

“A sports enthusiast from Dunaújváros, who wishes to remain anonymous, has donated an original national team jersey for the purpose of fundraising to support the intensive care unit of the Szent Pantaleon Hospital. This is no ordinary jersey, as it has been signed by famous players from the French national football team, including names like Pogba, Mbappé, Benzema, Griezmann, Dembélé, Varane, Kanté, Kimpembe, and Lloris. These are names known not only to football fans but also to a wider audience. The campaign also received the support of Réka Mészáros, a model and the advertising face of Dunaújvárosi Hírlap, who represented Fejér County in the national beauty contest of the Mediaworks group two years ago. She gladly joined this charity initiative, as she enjoys supporting such causes as part of her social responsibility.”

About the Dr. Gergely Molnár Foundation

“We consulted with Dr. Lajos Jobbágy, the hospital’s medical director and the head of the anesthesiology and intensive care department, along with my colleague Zsuzsa Szűcs, about the foundation’s goals. The beneficiary of the fundraising is the public benefit foundation of the intensive care unit, the ‘Dr. Gergely Molnár Foundation,’ whose aim is to support the care of critically ill patients from Dunaújváros and the surrounding area, improve equipment and personnel conditions, and maintain and develop the life-saving equipment used for treatments, especially ventilators used for COVID-19 patients.”
